iTunes is a program that one can use to download music, movies and even podcasts straight to your computer and then if you have an iPod you can also sync our podcast to your iPod. iTunes is FREE to download and so is the RyTime! Geekcast.
To download and subscribe to the RyTime! Geekcast on iTunes, follow these easy steps:
1. If you haven’t installed iTunes yet, head over to http://www.apple.com/itunes/ (or follow to link) and click the “Download iTunes” button. Follow the steps your computer provides to finish the installation of iTunes.
You can be taken directly to the RyTime! Geekcast directory in the iTunes Store directly if you click on the following link: http://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/rytime-podcast/id426071441.
If you follow the above link, skip to step 4
If you want to find the RyTime! Geekcast in iTunes manually, follow the rest of these steps:
2. Open iTunes. You will see in the table on the left some different tabs to browse (Music, Movies, TV Shows, etc.), click on the tab that says “iTunes Store”.
3. Once the iTunes store is loaded, find the “Search Store” bubble found in the top right corner of iTunes. Type in that field: RyTime! Geekcast and it will take you to the RyTime! Geekcast directory.
4. You can now see our podcast directory listings which include all available episodes of the RyTime! Geekcast. You can download each one starting with episode 1 by clicking the “Free” bubble on the right side of the listing.
*Note: Remember to click on the “Subscribe” button found on our directory to have all new episodes added to the RyTime! Geekcast automatically added to your iTunes
5. Once you have clicked to download the episodes, they will appear in the “Podcasts” tab from the table on the left mentioned before once they are finished downloading. All you need to do is click the episode you want to listen to and they will begin to play for your listening pleasure.
